Bright As the Sun

Hello, yellow.  As I mentioned in my post where I got to rent a dress from Houston's New for the Night, yellow is a color that has always been out of my comfort zone.

But when I saw that J.Crew's Lucille dress also came in a sunny yellow lace, I couldn't resist (I got it on sale, too!)

I attended an event last night at Houston's Urban Retreat Spa and I think the sparkly belt, chunky gold pave chain bracelet and lace on the dress made it transition seamlessly from day to night.
