If you don't already have some fabulous plans in place, head over to Casa de Novia (3331 D’Amico between Waugh & Shepherd). The upscale bridal boutique will house the only Vera Wang boutique in our city and carry the largest collection of Vera Wang gowns in the area (and remember gals, you don't alter a Vera to fit you, you alter yourself to fit into the Vera)...okay so I couldn't forgo the "Bride Wars" reference there...(seriously, I love that movie!)
Veronika's Blushing readers are invited to attend this event on Thursday, May 10, from 6-8 p.m. There will be a showcase of the new collection and the event benefits "Always A Bridesmaid," a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist less fortunate high school girls in the Houston area by providing them with donated bridesmaid dresses to attend their Homecoming and Prom---so please bring a new or gently-used dress if you can donate one!
